MARA's studio-based, practice-lead programme is developed around a general topic of research every year defined through to a conceptual brief. Readings and other support materials proposed and articulated through the brief are debated in seminars in order to create a common critical lexicon between the members of the Centre. They function as an entry points from which long-term research proposals are developed. Below are some examples of students work and past research briefs.
