Bona Fide is a documentary essay based on archive material. The work is concerned with the amatourial/official, public/private imaginaries revolving around the issue of domestic labour economy between Philippines and Hong Kong and their means of production and perpetuation. Ultimately, this documentary reflects on the use of images of abuse as agenda setting devices and on the production of visual contracts.
