The MA Research Architecture proposes to combine theoretical inquiry with critical spatial practices around a year-long individual project.

On June 23rd, the forum will be the occasion for each of the 8 students to publicly present their project, and to engage a collective critical discussion around and beyond them. Organised as a roundtable, addressing contemporary cultural and political issues through the unpacking of specific spatial conditions, the forum will reflect the very process of research over the course of the MA.

In answer to this year’s brief entitled Forensic Aesthetics, students will mobilise the multiform archives they have gradually produced to push forward their research question. As a prelude to the final exhibition of the projects in september 2011, you are all invited to make this a lively and thought-provoking forum.

Projects by: Manuela Hötzl, Zahra Hussain, Anisha Jogani, Jan Lemitz, Monika Löve, Roberta Mahfuz, Igor Pavlovic, Francesco Sebregondi.

Moderators: John Palmesino, Paulo Tavares, Eyal Weizman.
