Landscape of Darkness @ Liverpool Biennial

Yazan Khalili, MA Graduate at MARA, is presenting his project Landscape of Darkness/Darkness against the Landscape at the Liverpool Biennial: Future Movements: Jerusalem on Friday, 18th September at 6pm.

About the project:  A photography book in the nightscape in Palestine, beginning with one main question: what do we take a photograph of when we take a photograph of a Landscape? this project aims to research the relation between photography making process and the production of the landscape. It is bi-lingual Arabic and English, includes 34 photographs and 3 texts by three writers discussing the notion of Darkness, Light, Landscape and Memory, in addition to an introductory essay by the artist.
